Interested in joining the Marlborough Amateur Radio Club (MARC)? We welcome new members, whether you’re an experienced operator or just starting out!
Attend a General Meeting – Optional
Guests are always welcome to attend our General Meetings, held on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 19:30 hrs at the EOC, Wither Road Extension, Blenheim. This is a great opportunity to meet our members, learn about amateur radio, and see if MARC is the right fit for you.
Membership Application Process
If you wish to become a member, you can request a membership application form at a General Meeting or by contacting us directly.
Steps to Join:
- Complete the Membership Application Form – This includes providing your name, contact details (physical or email address and phone number), and consent to becoming a member.
- Submit Your Application – Applications are reviewed by the club’s Committee.
- Approval Process – The Committee will assess your application and notify you of the decision.
- Membership Confirmation – Upon acceptance, your details will be added to the club records.
- Pay Membership Fees – Membership fees are set at a General Meeting and must be kept current to maintain active membership.
Membership Rights & Responsibilities
As a MARC member, you will:
- Gain access to club meetings, activities, and events.
- Be eligible to vote in General Meetings and participate in club decision-making.
- Have the opportunity to use club facilities and equipment, subject to Committee guidelines.
- Be expected to uphold the club’s values and support the promotion of amateur radio.
- Ensure your membership fees are paid on time to maintain active status.

- Annual subscription fees are*:
- Individual – 30$
- Family – 40$
* Prices are subject to change without notice and will be confirmed upon invoicing.
